The Software and AI Behind WellChecked
WellChecked set out to keep oilfield equipment running. SEQTEK built the cloud platform and the AI that let them watch every well, around the clock.

The problem
WellChecked set out to transform how the oilfield monitors its equipment. They had IoT sensors collecting data from the field, but the data wasn't reaching the people who needed it, and nothing turned it into decisions.
Controls existed only at the well site, so shutting off a pump meant physically driving out to it. Traditional monitoring meant a technician checking in every 24 hours, which left a wide window for a problem to grow unnoticed and turn into a costly failure.
The solution
Working as an extension of WellChecked's team, SEQTEK built a cloud platform that houses well-site data and delivers it to WellChecked's customers in a clear, usable interface, designed around how field users actually work. RabbitMQ in the field gateway handles the traffic coming off the wells.
SEQTEK also built an AI monitoring system that listens. Using sound and deep learning, with Spot.ai object detection layered in, it flags potential equipment problems in seconds instead of on a 24-hour cycle, and grows more accurate over time as it learns which sounds signal which failures. It runs routine inspections autonomously, with little or no human intervention.
The impact
WellChecked's customers get their well-site data visualized clearly and act on it with confidence. The question of whether a well is performing as well as it can now has an answer, on demand.
Monitoring went from a 24-hour gap to continuous, with anomalies caught in seconds. Autonomous inspections lower overhead and raise safety by reducing manual site checks.
